Core Beliefs

We Are A Christian People:

With all the people of God we confess and praise Jesus Christ as Lord.  Jesus Christ is the Lord of the Church.  In Jesus Christ and through the Holy Spirit, God the Father offers forgiveness of sin.  Those who respond to God’s offer in faith become the people of God.  Having been forgiven and reconciled in Christ, we forgive and are reconciled to one another.  In this way, we are Christ’s Church and body and reveal the unity of the Body. 

We Are A Holiness People: 

God calls us to live a holy life.  We believe that the Holy Spirit seeks to work in us to help us overcome sin and empowers up to live a right relationship with God and with one another. 

We Are A Missional People

We believe that our mission is to share the good news of Jesus Christ both locally and globally.  This is accomplished through mission education, support of of mission projects and prayer.   The Church of the Nazarene supports higher education through Church Universities, Bible Schools and Seminary in order to prepare men and women for ministry.
